Voluntary - Enabling projects

VERs are created in accordance with generally-agreed methodologies, and most use the CDM process methodologies as a reference.  Once created, the VERs may also then be certified under one of a number of industry-created standards, which check the project additionality and other factors, and then issue certified credits.  CantorCO2e sits on the steering committee of the Voluntary Carbon Standard, a joint initiative by the Climate Group and the International Emissions Trading Association, which is developing a standard which is widely applicable, and which has buy-in from business and NGOs in Europe, the USA and the developing world.

CantorCO2e has in-house experts to take your project though the whole credit creation process.  We create the necessary documents and shepherd the project through the appropriate standard and issue process.
